Born from the Road

‘The Spinning® programme was founded by endurance road cyclists, and their desire to bring that authentic cycling experience indoors.’

Our Spinning® certified instructors will bring you energising, well structured rides to suit all abilities. No gimmicks in The Hay Runner Spinning® classes. Our classes are designed to build strength and stamina, endurance and cardiovascular fitness. Great motivational music, fun and suitable for all abilities. Our Spinning® Instructors are there to help you with bike set up and any advice you may need to start a class or to improve along the way.

Talgarth Town Hall the home of The Hay Runner and a licensed Spinning® facility.
We have 11 bikes and hold classes 3 times a week starting September 9th.
Mondays 5pm 6pm 7pm
Wednesdays 9.30am

Running Groups and Women’s Walk 2 Run

Jo is a qualified UK Athletics leader in Running Fitness, and an experienced runner herself.

She offers programmes and groups for all abilities, whether you are a complete beginner or running marathons!

Mixed Walk to Run

Starting September 13th. 10 Week Walk to Run

Meet Talgarth car park  6.15

This will be a mixed course and children over 12 are welcome to join their parents or guardian.

Jo Lord holds a current DBS check through UK Athletics

Courses 3 times a year.
Complete beginners or lapsed runners. 10 weeks structured course 0-5k

Spring 2020 course will be 12 weeks and Women only

For those who have completed the Women’s Walk to Run but are not confident in joining a running group. Take it to the next level.
Spring/Summer course only.

Tuesday Women’s Running Group

This is the perfect follow on from Walk to Run or The Returners course. You need to be able to run 5k. We meet at 9.30am every Tuesday and mainly run off road in some stunning scenery. Friendly and fun we quite often go for a coffee afterwards…

Bootcamps

This winter Bootcamp runs for 10 weeks starting every January. Venue to be confirmed and all fitness abilities welcome. You work at your own pace in a very supportive environment. Be prepared to get muddy.
